Volunteering in the Community
Part of our credit union’s Vision is to help our communities thrive, and we do this by asking each employee to participate in some of the volunteer opportunities that we schedule throughout the year.Follow our service on Facebook
Donating and Sponsoring Local Organizations
The employees of Tigers Community Credit Union raise money for local charities by donating $1 to wear jeans on Fridays. Since the launch in 2016, our employees have raised nearly $19,000 in donations with our Denim for Dollars program!Make a Donation Request
Partnering with the Community
We pride ourselves in helping our communities thrive and believe one of the ways we can help build those relationships is by supporting local city, chamber and school events in the communities we serve.Follow our service on Facebook
Teaching Financial Literacy
Throughout the year, we host numerous webinars and seminars that cover a variety of financial topics because when you succeed, we succeed.See Current Schedule
Highlights from 2020's commitment
COVID-19 forced us to think creatively about how to support our communities during a pandemic. With the uncertainty and social distancing restrictions of the pandemic, we were not able to achieve our lofty goals to beat our 2019 volunteering numbers. BUT our team adapted and rallied in some truly fantastic ways.
“We are just so proud of our staff for rolling with the hand we were dealt this year and adapting with the uncertain to still make some of our goals happen,” said Lori Hudson, Community Outreach Specialist. “There was so much more we wanted to do for our community during these trying times, and it feels good to have the staff step up to do what they can to help our communities thrive.”
Tigersquirrel Was All in for Columbia Public School's #CPSspiritweek!
||Virtual Vacation Day||Fancy Day||Jersey Day|
The Rock Bridge, Hickman, and Battle student councils came together to promote a district wide spirit week to support our local community. The CPS Virtual Spirit Week helped raise funds for Meals for Healthcare Heroes during the COVID-19 crisis.
