If you are impacted by the federal government shutdown you may be eligible to borrow up to one month's income at 0% APR*.

West Community wants to help you pay your bills during the federal government shutdown. If your income is impacted by the shutdown you may be eligible for a 0% APR* loan.  Borrow up to the amount of your net monthly income and pay no interest for the life of the loan.

  • 0% APR* for the life of the loan

  • 60 days until first payment is due

  • 6-month term

How to apply:

  1. Visit our "Loan Application" page
  2. Select "Personal Loan"
  3. Under "Select a purpose" choose "Other"
  4. Under "Provide loan information" enter "Government Shutdown Loan" in the "Description/Reason" field.
  5. A staff member will contact you to finalize the loan amount, 0% APR* and 6 month term.

Proof of federal government employment and income impacted by government shutdown required. Maximum payment term of 6 months. Monthly payment for $1,000 borrowed at 0% APY for 6 months is $167.00.
